Major David Heath French RAMS is a serving officer in the Royal Army Medical Services (RAMS) with over 21 years of service. He currently acts as the Executive Officer of the East Midlands University's Officers' Training Corps in Beeston, Nottinghamshire
He is also the Chairman & Military representative on the executive committee of the charity Forces Equine, which supports serving Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, Emergency Responders, and their families through equine-based activities and mental health advocacy

🚴 Charity Cycle Challenge

In May 2025, he undertook a 600 km charity cycle ride from The Kelpies in Stirling to Bedworth’s Weston Lawns, raising awareness and funds for mental health causes within the Armed Forces and Emergency Services communities. Beneficiaries include SSAFA, the Fire Fighters Charity, Police Care UK, and NHS Charities Together
The ride coincided with the opening day of the Forces Equine Games 2025, in which he participated as a central figure
