Direct flights operate from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, and Bristol to Gibraltar International Airport (GIB). Flight time: Around 3 hours. Airlines: British Airways, easyJet, and Wizz Air UK (routes can vary seasonally).
🚗 By Road
You can also fly into Málaga or Jerez in Spain and then drive or take a bus/train to the Spanish town of La Línea de la Concepción, which borders Gibraltar. Crossing the border is usually straightforward, but you'll need your passport.
🛳️ By Sea
Cruise ships often include Gibraltar as a port of call, especially on Mediterranean itineraries. There are no regular passenger ferries from the UK directly to Gibraltar.
📝 Travel Tips
Gibraltar uses the pound sterling (£), but Gibraltar banknotes are unique (and may not be accepted back in the UK). The territory is small, so walking is the best way to explore, but taxis and buses are available. The Rock of Gibraltar, St. Michael's Cave, and the apes at the Upper Rock Nature Reserve are must-see.
