A Hidden Gem in Great Easton – Dining at The Sun Inn

Our recent visit to The Sun Inn at Great Easton was nothing short of exceptional — the kind of experience that reminds you why independent venues with heart and passion truly stand out.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The private dining room is beautifully presented, offering an intimate and relaxed setting that feels both special and thoughtfully designed — perfect for celebrating an occasion or simply enjoying a leisurely meal in comfort.

The food was outstanding. Each dish arrived impeccably presented, showcasing both creativity and care. The chef clearly takes enormous pride in their work and went above and beyond to accommodate special requests, happily tailoring dishes and adding thoughtful extras without hesitation. That level of flexibility and attention is rare — and deeply appreciated.

Service throughout the evening was simply perfect. Attentive without being intrusive, the team ensured we never felt rushed, allowing us to enjoy every course at our own pace. Nothing was too much trouble, and the warmth of the staff made the experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable.

It's no surprise that The Sun Inn is such a popular spot. As we were leaving, the venue was packed — a true testament to its reputation and the loyalty of its diners. Despite the buzz, everything felt calm, well managed, and welcoming.

In terms of value for money, The Sun Inn delivers on every level. With a full menu, a pizza menu, and an "eat for less" option, there is something for everyone — and importantly, the portions certainly don't reflect the "less" in name. Generous, beautifully prepared plates speak for themselves, as you'll see from our images.

The Sun Inn at Great Easton is an amazing little hidden gem — one that balances quality, hospitality, and value effortlessly. We'll absolutely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Oh and dogs are welcome, we met some lovely four legged friends.
